TRYING TO SETUP A PC WITH THE EMC2 UBUNTU 6.06 386 DESKTOP FILE I DOWNLOADED FROM LINUXCNC.ORG. DOWNLOADED AND USED MD5SUM TO CHECK. COMES UP WITH THE SAME SUM LISTED WITH THE DOWNLOAD. BURNED TO CD AND SUM CHECKED OK, MY WINDOWS EXPLORER ONLY SHOWS THE SAME INFO AS THE FILE I DOWNLOADED. SHOULD I BE SEEING DIRECTORYS, FOLDERS AND FILES. I DONT KNOW IF IM BURNING THIS WRONG BUT BOTH SYSTEMS I TRY WONT BOOT FROM THIS DISK. MODIFIED BIOS ETC. ONE SYSTEM P3 450MHZ 256RAM , OTHER 650MHZ 256RAM. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. |

| The .iso file is a full file system that must be written to the cd as an image file. There are lots of utilities available to do this. google: burn image file windows gave me a bunch. For example: http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm Ken
