Pluto Servo - Any luck with EMC 2.2.2

It has been a while since I have posted anything regarding the pluto servo.

I have finally finished all the machanics of my router table and now am back at trying to get the pluto -servo to work.

My last settings worked with an older version of emc ... i think 2.1.1,

The problem I have now is, I installed the most current version of EMC and I can't seem to get the pluto to work on it. I think it might be this naming convention. I thought it might be the parallel port however it is setup in EPP mode so thats all working. I also checked the pluto on another computer and it seems to be working.

I have noticed that in EMC they have changed the naming convention for the pluto-p (http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?UPDATING). I am trying to find anyone who has this working on version 2.2.2. If someone can post a INI file along with the HAL file so I can see whats wrong that would be great.

Can you post a sample file of the .INI file and the .HAL file

I'm just not sure what I need to be changing and where?

Any help would be great. Thanks

Thanks Sam

I'll give this a try and let you know how it turns out.

Will I need to re-burn the flash on the pluto or can I still use the original firmware from the 2.1.1 version.

I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Pluto Still Not Reponding

Samco

I have attached my pluto.hal file. I saved it as a txt file just to upload it. I am still not getting any response from my machine on this setup. Can you have a look at it and let me know what is wrong.

I know this works on the old setup but still nothing working on the newer version.

Thanks
