I have got two questions.

Maximum pulse rates/second on encoder that LPT port can inputs without errors or loseing it?

Is it posible to configure EMC2 for PWM and direction signals for DC servo motor
-only 2 pins from port
and max. rpm with this configuration

Close loop is made with EMC

The exact upper limit depends on your computer, but is never as high as
200KHz.

I think someone once got close to or a little over 100KHz, but they were
just experimenting, that setup wasn't suitable for real use.
Typically the limit is between 30,000 and 50,000 steps per second.
