Is anyone using EMC2 with Pclinuxos 2007? If so can you help me setup the required RTAL package as i am a linux newbie. I have tried the ubuntu live cd with EMC2 but it crashes during startup on my laptop. Help!  |

| Building a real time kernel for emc is not easy even for the developers.. I am a linux newbie in terms of using it for atleast a year. I would not attempt it. what kind of hardware is your laptop? Is it pretty new? Do you know what is causing the lockup? you might have better luck trying ubuntu gutsy 7.1 read about it here http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45671 |
