Hi to All, I've read some time ago, but I don't remeber where, how to set up optocoupled Stepper drivers. My Drivers need some precharge (steady signal before pin change). Anyone can tell me some more info about it? Many many thanx Andrea |

| Andrea, If you still need an answer to your question, you might try the IRC channel for EMC2. You can find the info at the EMC2 website. http://www.linuxcnc.org/ Alan

The step generator in EMC2 is very flexible. It has defaults that work with most drives, but if you have special requirements, you can customize its output. Among other things, you can configure the minimum length of step pulses, the minimum space between step pulses, the minimum time between direction change and the start of the next step, and the minimum time the direction output is held steady after the step completes. The complete stepgen documenation is here: http://www.linuxcnc.org/docs/2.1/htm...stepgen.9.html |
