How do you send a message to the mailing list? I have a user name and password and have successfully sent mail there in the past. Have forgotten the details and now mail sent there is being bounced. Also mail from emc-users keeps flooding my inbox. Do I have to contact the list administrator directly to have this stopped? The information at linuxcnc seems sketchy at best with both problems. Would really prefer they went to a forum format instead of mailing list/irc chat. Sorry for being thick but I'm honestly at a loss |

| You send mail to To change your profile (i.e., not receive daily digests, etc.) go to <https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users>. Alan

| Well, I remain not a fan of the mailing-list concept or sourceforge's servers. Emails sent there are disappearing into some blackhole. Not bouncing, just gone. I'm not alone in this problem as similar complaints surface in the user archives. Anyone else here had problems? Just venting btw. Off now to contact the proper authority.

I generally just go to this URL and post my questions there. It is easier for me to read the threads there and post to the thread in question. I have to confess that I am not wild about the limitations that it imposes on e-mails but this way at least I find out before the message is just tossed away. Alan
