Finally got around to running EMC2 an anger today, what a wonderful surprise, subroutines and logical 'while', 'end while' programable gcode. ( Never used this stuff in EMC1 will have to look if it was there). Makes code much more compact, possibility of generated surfaces rather than having to build masses of gcode. Just started work on a jewelry box for SWMBO ( She who must be obeyed ), out of 150 year old oak ( Does that make it an antique or just well seasoned ). |

| I just installed EMC2 on my house PC the other day. Never tried it before. Apart from plugging a machine in, it seems to be working ok. I want to give it a go on the garage PC with the CNC attached, but just haven't had the time. The Axis interface looks good.
I will make an effort to give EMC2 a whirl soon. |
