Hi all. I have installed EMC2, I’m building my first cnc and learning gcode programming. I would like to stop (pause) the flow of my gcode programmatically - I mean, the equivalent of pressing the “P” key. I thought that (MSG, change the bit) would work, but it didn’t. The machine doesn’t stop, it goes on instead, without waiting me to click the OK_button of the alert box. Now I’m using this code: (MSG, change the bit within 20 seconds or hit P) D4 P20 …which seems a bit stupid to me. Is there another way? |
