Hi, I am new to Visual Mill and EMC so not sure if this problem is due to Visual Mill or EMC. I am using Visual Mill 6 and have created a cut path for a house sign that I designed in SolidWorks. I used horizontal roughing for my first cut with a 19mm end mill. My second Horizontal roughing tool path was programmed with a 13mm end mill. When I ran the program on EMC, the second tool path started cutting without prompting for a tool change and destroyed all the work that had been done with 19mm tool. By the way all my tool paths are in one MOp Set. Is this maybe the problem, should I be using a different MOp set for each tool? Please help, it's soul destroying after watching everything go fine for an hour only to see it get ruined. Thanks for any advice. Simon |

| Need more info. For instance does it usually prompt but this time it didn't or it never has? How did you build your config files? A small sample of the G code showing the tool change and a copy of your config files would help too. Chris |
