Hi All, After recently finishing my first CNC machine I have spent two weeks playing with EMC. My Problem is that I have to either put up with a slow machine, correct scale and very hot motors(So hot you can smell them) or very fast machine, cool motors but the scale is not correct. Does anyone know how to change the scale in Axis without affecting the performance. I have tried making the changes directley in the INI file but this also slows the machine down to the same performance that I had before. Since I now know that my mechanical setup is capable of running so much faster there must be a way to alter the scaling. Thanks for any help, I am starting to bang my head on the wall. Simon |

| I seem to have sorted it out now. I have wired my steppers up in parallel. Before they were in series. I have also made sure that my steps being put out by Axis are the same as the dip switch configuration on my drivers. The system seems to be running as fast as I ever expected it to and the motors have just a slight warmth to them. Simon |
