Need Help!- Realtime system did not load

I downloaded ubuntu emc from LinuxCNC.org - Installing EMC2

Installs fine but when I'm trying to start emc I get error which is attached. What to do?

Thanks. I would try but gedit says that file is read only and I cannot edit it. I don't know about linux nothing so could somebody give me detailed instructions how to run ubuntu always that I can do whatever I want and I can edit files.

Open a terminal window and type:

sudo gedit

You will be prompted for your password, following which gedit will open with root priviledges.

are you installing under a virtual os ?
within windows or mac etc

or if you want the file to open in the geditor, just type sudo gedit /etc/default/grub
