Newbie- USC + Gecko Interface

Hi all
I recently bought a USC + Gecko Interface (Pico Systems), but more I read all kinds of manual or web pages, I can not establish a PID.
It happens that when I ask Jon Elson, communication is not optimal because the language barrier.
Is there anyone who can help me in my native language?
Some Hispanics speaker who has the same solution?
