I know a fellow who'd like to convert his Bridgeport to CNC, and EMC looks like a great way to do it. However, he's on a bit of a budget, and needs a powerful stepper driver for a reasonable price. Can anyone recommend a kit for a high-power stepper driver that doesn't cost too much? I'm not shy of a soldering iron, and am open to the idea of making some PCBs and assembling the components myself if that's the way to go. |
