Hi All, I have 0.006" back lash in my X Axis. I stripped the axis and it's all in the Ball-screw, anker Bearings fine. I can preload the Ball-screw with a bigger spacer between the two half's but has anyone else done this, and I'm worried that this amount might just mean it time to replace the whole screw...... Where do you get a replacement ?? I can supply a CAD drawing of the screw if needed, I would like to know how much it might cost to just replace the screw.... Its 30mm diameter on the main screw part, and has a Keyed stile nut held between endcaps on the housing. Any info gratefully received  |
