Hi, all, i've for a RF-30 (Rong Fu) , and i've got some 1605 rolled ballscrews i want to install , however before i take apart the table, which weighs about 75kg (i'm told) i was wondering if anyone who has converted one of these of similar machines to cnc , till has the measurements for the ball nut mounting, so far i've done a few days worth of searching and so far plenty of people who have done it but it seems to somthing that gets left out of a lot of blogs i'd rather not disassemble to table twice (once to take measurements ,second to install everything) |

| I'm not sure what measurements you want. I can tell you that the two 8/9mm X axis mounting holes on my machine (you'll find loads of my pictures on cnczone) are 58mm apart, but where they are in relation to other parts seems to have been down to the guy that drilled them! Another example: I friend (Kipper) sent me the lead-screws from his machine that looked superficially like my Nu-Tool RF-30 clone - The screw was over a inch longer and had to be cut down to fit. These machine are made by many manufacturers in China and Taiwan, you should not count on your machine being the same as mine, or any other one you may find, on the web. Bill

| yes i get the feeling with these chinese machines it really does come down the guy that drilled them!, i might just have to do it all properly and take the table apart take all the measurements and reassemble to make them all. |
