Hi I'm in process to build a small lathe with 100mm chuck and 300mm between centers. almost a "mini-lathe". I will use linear bearings for the Z axis. And at the moment I have a 25mm star unit with 70mm long truck. And I want your opinions if it will be enough with only one rail or if it is needed to have 2 rails? /janne  |
