I am still in the research portion of putting together a design for my first router table. For my linear motion, one of the things I am looking at is the cylindrical rails with the cylindrical fittings that go all the way around or most of the way around in the case of the open design for supported rails. The question I have, is what do you do with these bushings? Do you bore out a block of aluminum or something and then press them in or fit them with set screws? If this is the case, would HDPE be strong enough to use for that casing? If that is not what you do with them, please enlighten me. |

| I used plywood and held them in place with snap rings.
