    Why ballnuts are really good

    I mounted a rotating ballnut last night. The gantry is about 75-80 kg in weight and by pushing it by hand the nut starts to rotate by itself. I like low friction stuff.

    Yep. I'm sold on them myself.
    Nice design. No whipping on that screw either. Should prove to be very smooth in operation.

    I know what you mean, I just got hold of some ballscrews after building a threaded rod machine, nothing like 'em

    Real linear rails are sweet as well after using skate bearings !
