ok this is a quik image i have made ![]() those thick black lines are round tubes to spin ... my 6 axle and i whant to spin them one at the time with 2 dc motor if its possible. if motor 1 spins right and motor 2 spins left then the first axle will rotate. if motor 1 spins left and motor 2 spins right then the second axle will rotate. if motor 1 is stoped and motor 2 spins right then the third axle will rotate. if motor 1 is stoped and motor 2 spins left then the fourth axle will rotate. if motor 1 spins left and motor 2 is stoped then the fifth axle will rotate. if motor 1 spins right and motor 2 is stoped then the sixth axle will rotate. Ok i hope someone understand this, this would work if i know how to build it, I have a couple of gears but its seems impossible. Can anyone help me, show me or explain how exactly i can do or give me another teory to make this ? maybe 3 motors? dont whant to use 6 motors, thats my last option! |

| I don't see any sensible way to do that with 2 motors. With 3, it could be done without too much trouble, if you only want them to turn in 1 direction. You would need to use overrunning clutches or bearings, like whats on a bicycle. It would freewheel in one direction and drive in the other. You would need these mechanisms opposed on each pair of axles. To make them all turn the same way, you would need some gears to reverse the rotation of 3 of the axles. I think after all of the time and money put into that you would be better suited with 6 motors. Maybe if you were more specific about what it is you are trying to do, how big the motors are, how you are controlling the motors, someone could suggest the best method to get the job done. Matt |
