| hydrostatic bearings Hi all, am considering using two 3.5" inch pipes (4" od) and 4.002" bearings (approx 12" long) with a oil pump as hydrostatic linear slides for my first z axis on a large metal lathe. Any suggestion, do's or don'ts, critic's etc? thanks |
