I have a rack and pinion plasma table project i took over from someone else. Problem im having is locating an adapter to mount a gear that has a 5/16 bore to a stepper with a 1/4 inch shaft. The existing gears have this adapter already so I know they exist somewhere. I am currently adding a stepper so I can drive the gantry from both sides. |

| Are you talking about simple bushings? Mcmaster Carr has all sorts of bushings in different types of materials. You should be able to mark it for drilling the set screw holes. I have used several steel and bronze bushing like this on couplers that weren't the correct size.
