I'm using 1" shafts that I got at the local surplus yard, and need some linear bearings for a diy sawmill project I'm working on. Seems like the price quadruples when I go from 25mm (cheap) to 1" (not cheap) linear bearings. Has anyone tried a 1" shaft with 25mm bearings, this and did the roughly 0.4 mm - 0.020" size difference cause the bearings to bind up? thanks James B    |

| I have not tried it, because it won't work. Not sure where you get your linears but 25mm and 1" are the same price from my suppliers
