Hi gang, I am building a datacut machine for building aluminum electronic chassis, guitars and engraving. The datacut machine design calls for Kerk Lead screws. I got a quote from Kerk for the lead screws and nuts. Their 60" TFE treated screw with antibacklash nut is $341. Roton is $120 (no coating and no backlash nut). McMaster Carr is $175 with wear compensating nut. For my application, what do you suggest? thanks    |

| Get the standard 1/2-10 5 start from McMaster-Carr (98940A020) and antibacklash nuts from DumpsterCNC for about $100.
