Need a little help with PU and PD !

Hi !
I am new to CNC and HPGL but am learning fast. I have a new Router, XJ-3030 from XYZ-Tech in China. I need info on wich setting has effect on the PU and PD in the HPGL files.
The problem is that when I Run a file wich I know is absolutely sound and good delivers the cutter down and it starts cutting very well. But when the spindle is supposed to get up (PU) nothing happens and the cutter makes a cut to the next letter to cut.

Is there some setting in the DSP system for the Router that I have not Set correctly ?

Any ideas ? Help is very much appreciated.

Something happened today.
I have tryed HPGL files in and out on this Router and whatever I do the PU and PD don´t work as they should. Today I got a NC file, ran it, and the Z axis worked flawlessly.

As I said earlyer then I am NOT a programming specialist and though I have some notion about the commands in HPGL the NC looks like chinese to me.

You programmers out there ! Can it be that a modern DSP Router doesn´t understand HPGL and perhaps only NC commands ?? I thought HPGL was quite easy to understand and was ready to learn but if NC is the only option then I don´t know. I read a few lines in the file I used and did not make much sense out of it.

But, if I have to then I will learn the NC commands and get this Router of mine to work.

Could it be that perhaps there is a way to use the HPGL after all and all that is needed for my Router to work are few adjustments in the Router Settings ?? I hope so.
