New to forum with a homemade bearing idea for the group

Just thought i would throw this out there and see what the group thinks of this idea. This is something that i have been working on for a while and thought i would share it with the group and maybe get some input or more ideas along this line. The photos show a home made bearing made from a drill guide from harbor freight, drill and slotted for roller skate bearings.The guide can be had for about $6 when they are on sale, i figure another $6 or so for the bearings and the hareware. Say less than $20 for the complete setup.The 1st phots are just what it looks like when put togather and the last 2 or 3 are with it on a mock-up of a rail assy.(2 rails) I would like to here some thoughts on what people thinks of this idea.
