All, I am currently in the process of designing a DIY CNC router. I am having trouble finding a device to support the free end of the ACME threaded drive rod. I am also having trouble finding 1/4" to 1/2" motor couplings between stepper motor and ACME threaded rod. Any suggestions? --Neal neal@geometrixeng.com |

| Here are some couplers for you. http://www.dumpstercnc.com/couplers.html Some guys are using 1/2" flange mounted bearings to support the screw. Check out the Joe 4x4 hybrid threads.
