Kuroda refers to it simply as a "spacer". I suspect the spacer is fit at assembly with the screw to obtain the desired preload for that specific assembly, not necessarily interchangeable. "Custom fit" so to speak.

A "cupped" disc may not be a simple spacer. Some are ground to maintain a dimension that produces a preload. There is also another type of disc that is not a dimensioned spacer, but is actually a type of spring called a Bellville washer or spring.

The preload is set by drawing each of the nuts toward each other. The closer together, the higher the preload. Using this method, small pitch spacing errors are compensated for by the compliance of the spring/washer. You might want to google "Bellville spring washer".

I noticed in a Nook ballscrew catalog a double nut preloaded with a wave spring. This would function the same as a Bellville but would pobably have different physical dimensions.

Also check http://www.mcmaster.com for more choices. They come in inch, metric, various id/od sizes and force ratings.

eloid, can you please see if that is the correct part number? I googled Lintech
www.lintechmotion.com products-ballscrew assemblies-r series-RS062 series. You may want to scope this out. It shows all the loads, speeds etc. The preloaded nut for RS062 is shown and mentions it as a Bellville spring/washer but does not give the preload or preload dimensions. They do give some support phone numbers.

I didn't find a RC0605. That may be a part number for that component rather than the assembly. Lintech can probably answer all your questions and supply the appropriate part.
