I've got a rather large chunk of delrin and a machine shop at my disposal, and I'd like to make a very small 3 axis cnc machine for circuit boards, engraving clock faces, and cutting soft plastic to reasonable tolerances (+/- 0.005 or so). What's the preferred way to do linear slides for an application like this? I've also heard of gas pipe and roller skate bearings, but haven't been able to find a good diagram of how this was implemented even after searching for awhile |
