I was lucky enough to have someone give me ball screws and nuts for the x and y axis. Now I have to decide which system to use for z without wasting the precision of the other 2 axis. Was wondering if I could use acme 1/2 10 2 start and some sort of nut or if i should buy a ball screw and nut, money is sort of tight but I want a decent machine. was wondering what you experts recommend doing or have done,THANKS IN ADVANCE.I'm new to the site and have gotten so much good information for all guys out there, I will post some photos soon. Thanks again |
