Hi guys, I am totally new in this cnc'ing. But I am very interesed to build one to make my life easier when I need it to cut some alluminum, pcb, wood or plastic. My goal is to have a travel of 6" x 12". The Z axis will be mounted on the Y-axis (Is this correct??) I found a local supplier who can supply me a round rod, linear bearing and the bearing mounting at a reasonable price. ![]() The company is http://www.soonfar.com.my/prod_su.php I plan to use a 16mm rod 2 in parallel on each axis.(Is this strong enough) I see alot of people using the linear slide. But I think it is too expensive for me. I appreciate all the replys from you guys. |
