I got my hands on a linear slide with a Warner ballscrew and am having trouble understanding some of the info on it. It is a 0.75 inch dia and 0.500 inch lead.
My question is the 0.500 inch lead part. Does it mean the slide should move 0.5 inches per revolution? I know this might sound stupid, but I just need to get this straight in my head. I am in the process of getting ready to start fabrication on my table, hopefully start to post next week on other form. With working long hour and not much sleep, not much makes sense lately.
Thanks gary |
