    THK experiences

    has anyone used THK rails? What have your experieces been? Are they really good, or not so much?

    They work as advertised. I have been using them in designs for about 18 years and will continue to.

    They aren't going to compensate for a poor installation or design - they are only as good as their installation.

    THKs are the standard in precision linear motion guides. When evaluating products from other brands, it's pretty much a question of how much worse are they compared to THKs... just slightly worse or much worse?

    They may be good. However after many requests I can't even get them to send me a catalog. If a company has crappy support before buying not sure I want to find out what the after sale support is like. YMMV
