Hi, I've been collecting some parts for a CNC router so I have some linear rails, pillow blocks and ball screws. What's the best way to store them? I'd say I won't get to assembly for at least 3-6 months and the climate is pretty dry (central california). I've read about greasing a wraping tooling, but I'm wondering what works best for rails and screws. thanks in advance |

| Just use some clear plastic hand film... the stuff that's used to wrap pallets. Kinda like seran wrap. You can get 1500 foot rolls from your local box/shipping supplies store for about 15-20 bucks a roll. If you don't ship stuff often, it'll last you forever. You can also get smaller rolls from the hardware store, but they're half price and 1/10 the quantity. |
