Ok so I was just messin around with 80/20 profiles and looked at my mill. I said the big hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. So if you configure the typical profiles like this you get a dovetail for sliding and a good mounting for a 5/8-8 acme screw. I'm thinking mill conversion now. The white gibbs are delrin or uhmw attached to the dovetail at full length. Anybody ever try this before? ![]() ![]() Last edited by spunky1974; 11-06-2006 at 12:25 PM. |
