I recently attended the Fabtech show in Atlanta. I saw all the big manufactureres of CNC plasma machines. Almost all of the machines had one thing common, a heavy t shaped machined or ground rail with mounting holes on the bottom and and small male and female slots on the ends to butt them together for extensions. It then dawned on me that these are rails used in elevators. You can buy the pre ground and machined. Does anybody know what they cost? After searching the internet I see that you can buy them in lengths up to 16 ft. Talk about easy to line UP and mount. It also says they come in different weights per foot. Anybody have other information or prices. Thanks in advance. |
