I am currently building my first MDF machine with radial bearings. Already I am dreaming of my next machine. I would like to improve on this arrangement in my next machine. Could someone post a picture or diagram showing the best possible solution as their seems to be a variety ways of doing it. I will still be using ACME thread although may put in ballscrews where budget allows. Liam |

| you need to use angular contact bearings for the lead screws. you need two of them per axis and they need to be oriented so they are opposed to one another. that way they can take the load from both directions of travel. |
