Linear slides clicking

Hi,
Just recieved some small, RSR9, rails and trucks off ebay.
One of the trucks makes a regular clicking noise as it's moved.
Is there anything that can be done?
Replace the grease?

Do I dare open one up to check the condition of the bearings?

No one has any advice about opening up one of the trucks?
Will the bearings fall out?
Can I put them back in after cleaning and regreasing?

well do't know what a RSR9 is but pictures you will get better responce.

Do you feel any resistance when you hear the clicking.

I have some rsr15 rails and trucks. The balls will fall out but it is doable to open them.
Just clamp the truck to the rails and put the balls back one by one when you reassemble.

I have not long bought some THK HSR25 carriages of ebay. 3 of them where hard to push and 1 made a regular clicking noise as you mentioned. I found that 1of the 4 bearings sets in carriage was the suspect and freed up the bearings by pushing them rapidly forwards and backwards. I know it sounds a bit of a bodge job but it seems to work. Probably benifit from the apllication of some more grease (use manufactures recommended).

I don't feel any difference in the resistance of the clicking truck vs the quiet trucks.
It is a very regular clicking and speeds up with faster movement of the truck.
Makes me suspect that there is a flat spotted bearing. The rail is too short to get all the bearings to "rotate" thru the truck.
I did try the pushing it forward and backward rapidly to maybe loosen up the grease.
I also sprayed the rail with WD-40 to try and soften up the existing grease but it still clicks.
This thing is so smal I would imagine the bearings are almost microscopic (especially to my 50 year old eyes)

Where do you get the proper grease?
McMaster maybe?
