Has anybody experimented with Stauff clamps as linear bearing housings? They are a green 2 piece plastic clamp with a metal base and top. The base has 2 tapped holes. I am using 2 on each side of each axis for a 3 axis machine. Just wondering if anybody else is using the same. Thanks Prboz More information here http://www.stauff.com/Stauff/china/english/Clamps.asp |

What kind of steel rod and linear bearing are u using. Stauff clamps are really easy to use.... Do you have more pictures aswell? It looks pretty impressive.. I have just made some corner brackets and some feet. Gonna start with the linear bearings now.. |

| The Rods are just bright Mild steel and the linear bearings I bought off Ebay. It is only fairly light duty as I cut Radio Controlled Aeroplane parts for Scratch built planes. I use a dremel as the router and bits up to 1/4" Have attached 2 more images. Regards Prboz |
