Modification to closed VXB bearing | |
I had this idea, which I think is crazy but I thought would be worth throwing out there.
VXB sells closed metric linear bearings at great prices, and all of the shafting to accompany it.
I am considering making a small CNC milling machine in a few months, because there are no other mills that fit my needs that I can see (at least that are affordable).
Well would be possible to turn that closed bearing into an open? http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PRO...ystems/LME25UU
Look at that picture, on the bottom is an open area. Could I pass over that with an end mill to open it? |
