hi all
can anyone give me a link to a web site that sells acme rod in 2 start 1/2 8 4turns per inch in uk
as mcmaster carr wont send it to nz and have ordered parts for it already from other places
i have a sis over there that i can send it to

will that give me the exact same profile as the 1/2 8 4turns as have already got the nuts stupid i know but was not counting on a company on the web to not take international orders

They are the metric equivalent to what you described; but think they may not match your nuts (didn’t know you had the nuts). I would say it is worth an email to find out.

Don’t know if this is worth mentioning, but I bought my lead screws from Ondrive and made my own nut from Delrin.
