Hello All!
I have an old Torchmate 1 system that is now 6 y/o. Very old by todays standards. 
The gantry I use consists of 0.75"x2.00" CRS, the slide rides on cam follower bearings. I get way too much jiggle with this design! To say the least, to design is very poor but it has got me by for this many years.
I now want to build a gantry using the aluminum extrusions, 80/20.
Would some of you kindly steer me in the right direction as far as the linear bearings are concerned?
Mainly I am searching for the linear bearing or two bearings to complete the gantry.
How have you folks attached the rack to the extrusion?
