Gantry Coordination test file for trouble shooting | |
Hey there,
does anyone know if there is a gantry test file that would be useful to calibrate the machine.. For example:
lets say it is a given piece of geometry and if its off in this dimmension the x-axis has backlash.
or the y-axis is not coordinated it this is the outcome.
Anything like this this. I have an in-house built plasma cutter that is 6'x20' i am trying to hunt down a .005" error over about 15' in the y axis. 
To be true its about .125". Weird enough though we found the identicle error in the waterjet machine. (same part) i am trying to trouble shoot it.
