Does any one have a sorce for balls to preload a ball screw with. I am looking for balls to preload Thompson 5/8 .200 lead ballnut and rolled screw. I replaced the balls that came in the nut with bigger ones but it did not remove all of the back lash. The balls that came loaded in the nut were .1244 -.1247 and the one I loaded in were .125 +/- .0001 and the samples that I mic'ed measured in at .1249 and .1250 I would like to try something bigger like .126 or more. Any one have experance in what sizes commonly work in this type of screw? I can't seem to find a sorce of these non standard size balls. I got the ones that I used from McMaster but they only seem to carry standard sizes.
