| Here is a link to some casters that might work http://catalog.cisco-eagle.com/mm5/m...ode=VIR-Wheels I dont know how tight the bearings are in the casters but the casters could be used horizontally and vertically at the same time. With this arrangment the gantry would not be able to move side to side on the rails. What do you think? |

| I don't want to burst your bubble but do you realize that these casters are made out of iron. Iron is heavy and the combined weight will add up quickly leaving you with a large inertial moment.
