I have a used ballscrew that I am going to use for the X axis of a machine, currently in the design stage. The length of the ballscrew is about an inch to long. So based on that, I was thinking of mounting a bearing on the ballscrew threaded area normally intended for ballnut travel. This would free up the 9mm end (normal bearing mount area) to be used to attach an encoder. The problem is the ballscrew shaft is 16mm. This seem to be a none standard bearing id.

Does anyone have a source for this size bearing?

Thanks
Brian
