    Servo motor for Ballast tank piston

    Dear Members,
    Plz help me to find a suitable servo motor for piston movement for Ballast tank. the torque offered to Servo motor is 200 oz-in.
    My limitation for voltage is 48VDC max and i need a servo motor for this rating only........

    dont u think maybe u shud give us max rpm needed too?

    You could try a linear actuator? They will operate your piston and many types come complete with linear feedback (to directly indicate piston position), like a pot or linear encoder.
