Anyone use DryLin R Linear Bearings | | I found these DryLin R Linear Bearings on a web site. I believe they are also from www.igus.com that jdbaker mentioned in another thread on here.
They say they are great in areas where there is dirt, etc. I was just wondering how well that slide on a linear shaft? I was thinking of using these on a linear shaft that is supported. They have these linear bearings open ended with a pillowblock.
I can't use closed bearings because I want to go up to 4 feet atleast on the X axis and the linear shaft needs to be supported or it will flex. This was strongly suggested by most people here on the board - Thanks also for saving time, money and grief!
