Does a Worm Gear mesh with Timing Belt

    Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if a Timing Belt with a 10mm pitch will mesh with Worm Gear with a pitch diameter of 10mm?

I'm trying to save on width, and I'd like to not have to add another gear beside the Worm Gear to drive my Timing Belt.

    Thank you.

Note: By Worm Gear, I mean the flat cylinder gear that meshes with the worm.

These gears have angled teeth on it to mate with the angles of the worm gear threads (ie the teeth are not parallel to the shaft axis). Timing belts have the teeth parallel to the rotation axis, so they cannot mate.
