| ACME screws are more accuracte then most ball screws and cheaper. I believe that the precision ground ball screws are close in accuracy. ACME screws are not as efficient as ballscrews. Rack & pinion is in a separate category. |

| For X axis of over 4000mm is rack & pinon is prefferd or ballscrews give the merits & Demerits |
