VXB Bearings /ebay

Just a message about my experience with the irvineman buy now auctions on ebay.

I ordered 4 items on ebay auctions from irvineman (10 R8ZZ, 16 ABEC 7, 10 R6 ZZ, and 10 R3ZZ). I probably should have only ordered one item at time. Total price was $40.60. A week later a package arrived with only the 10 R8ZZ. Ok, they missed the other three items, maybe they don't handle multiple orders well (credit card charged $40.60) price for all items. I sent an email to VXB bearings requesting the other three items, no response. I sent an email to irvineman about the discrepency, no response. I sent an email to VXB a month letter asking them to fix this. After a week without response I sent negative feedback on ebay and sent an email stating that I was going to dispute the charge. Now I get a response that they do not support costumers who do not pay. Ok, at least I got a response. Tell them about the items not shipped and they can ship the items or change the charge to pay for the one item sent. I get a response back that seems to say that if I remove the dispute on the charge they will ship the item. My patience is exhuasted, I send an email stating that I will ship back the 10 R8ZZ received and be done with it. Then on ebay irvineman write reponses to my feedback stating that he shipped all four items and I am refusing to pay, worst buyer every, etc. I have purchased from HobbyCNC (great products), MPJA, DeskCNC, Qkits, MSC industrial with no problems.

My experience is probably unique since they get good ratings but I would suggest ordering individual items.

I bought 2 sets of angluar contact bearings in 2 diff auctions, 2 diff sizes and got them very promptly, he responded relatively promptly too.

I wasnt really a big fan of the bearings, they have a small amount of play in them even tightened down good.

Some times the people who run these sites don't have a good command of the English language or they are perfect idiots....send him a copy of your PayPal receipt.

Buy me a Beer?
Ebay feedback isn't any help for buyers. The sellers force you to leave them good feedback, regardless of the service they provide. I've bought a few items recently, and was told that they would leave positive feedback for me after I left it for them. Nice.

thats typically how it works, you exchange feedback. if someone leaves you negetive feedback, are you gonna leave them positive? It is pretty stupid, I choose to leave neutral feedback to a few and they did the same to me with bogus crap.

Personally I never leave negative feedback but use a CC with fraud protection. When the charge gets reversed the bank deals with the issue. I make sure the bank has all the details and the seller is then motivated to make it right. In my hundreds of dealings on E-bay I have only resorted to this twice, once was and out and out fraud the the guy got arrested eventually by NY state police and the second was an honest mistake and the seller made the deal whole. Banks have a way of motivating people, it could be the fraud aspect that gets their attention. I know the guy in NY defrauded lots of people before he was arrested. He did serve time for his actions.

PS just remember if the deal is to good to be true then it probably is. The one exception is for sellers that get hugh volumes on Ebay. It is their bread and butter.
